There are more SEO agencies pitching Delhi businesses than in any other Indian market, and most of the proposals look identical. I'm Saurabh Tiwari — 13 years in, working directly with you, and willing to say when a keyword isn't worth chasing.
Delhi is the most crowded SEO market in India — both for the businesses competing in it and for the agencies selling into it. That second part matters more than people realise.
When fifty agencies are pitching the same Gurgaon D2C brand, the pressure is to promise more than the last proposal did. That's how a market ends up full of decks promising page one in ninety days for terms where the incumbents have a decade of authority. Nobody is lying exactly. They're just not doing the arithmetic in front of you.
The arithmetic is usually simple. If the top five results for your target term sit at DR 70 and above with hundreds of referring domains each, and your site is at DR 15, no amount of on-page work closes that in a quarter. The realistic path runs through terms those incumbents haven't bothered to cover — and there are always some, because large sites optimise for volume and leave the specific, high-intent queries alone.
Finding those terms and building the pages that own them is most of what I do for NCR clients. Nostrum's "denim hoodie" went from outside the top 50 to position 5 that way. Muffynn's "gurkha pants for men" went from outside the top 100 to 6.
You get that assessment before you commit to anything, including the parts where the answer is that a term isn't winnable and the budget belongs elsewhere.
Every engagement starts with an audit. What follows depends on what the audit finds — not on a package decided before seeing your site.
Category and product page optimisation, faceted navigation, product schema and the non-branded discovery terms marketplaces dominate.
D2C & Ecommerce SEO →Crawlability, indexation, JavaScript rendering, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, schema and canonical hygiene.
B2B SEO →Style and fit terminology, seasonal demand cycles, size and variant handling, and the long tail of garment-specific queries.
Fashion SEO →For NCR businesses serving a catchment — Google Business Profile, location pages and map visibility across Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida.
Local SEO Services →hreflang architecture, per-market keyword sets and country pages for NCR brands selling into the US, UK and Gulf.
How scope is priced →Visibility in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity — structured so answer engines can cite you.
AEO & GEO Services →On the technical side I work across Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and headless React or Next.js front ends. The stack matters because the failure modes differ: Shopify and WooCommerce stores tend to bleed crawl budget through faceted filter URLs, generating thousands of near-duplicate pages that compete with the category page they came from. Headless builds tend to serve content that renders for a visitor and never reaches the crawler at all.
Delhi NCR's search economy runs on consumer brands and professional services. These are the categories where the work is most relevant.
Gurgaon and South Delhi are dense with direct-to-consumer brands competing against marketplaces for the same product queries.
Seasonal cycles, fit and style terminology, and a long tail of garment queries that large retailers systematically ignore.
Consultancies, legal and financial services where a handful of monthly enquiries changes the year.
Concentrated around Noida and Gurgaon, usually selling internationally and competing in non-Indian SERPs.
Every figure below comes from a real client engagement. Nothing here is illustrative, rounded up, or invented — and where there's no number worth publishing, I say so rather than filling the gap.
A term outside the top 50 moved to position 5. "Nostrum jeans" holds position 1 and "t-shirt for men" reached position 11.
An apparel term taken from outside the top 100 to position 6. "Flexi-waist pants" moved to 8 and "stretch pants" to 10 over the same period.
A high-commercial-intent appliance term at position 3, from a domain that also holds page one for "water bottle."
A face-makeup product term at position 6. "Setting powder" holds position 7 and "eyebrow palette" also sits at 7, across a six-month engagement.

You will receive several of these. Most will look convincing. Here is what to ask, whether you end up working with me or with someone else — these questions are designed to separate real strategy from a template.
If they can't answer this immediately, they haven't looked at your SERP. This single number determines whether your target keyword is a six-month project or a three-year one, and any proposal written without it is guesswork wearing a spreadsheet.
Every keyword list contains terms that aren't worth the investment — too competitive, wrong intent, or traffic that never converts. Anyone who says all of them are winnable is either not being straight with you or hasn't checked.
Ask for the name and the experience level, not the team size. In NCR specifically, the gap between who pitches and who delivers is the most common source of disappointment. It's a fair question and the answer should be immediate.
A screenshot in a deck proves nothing. Ask for the client name and the keyword so you can search it yourself. Everything on this page is stated that way for exactly that reason — open a new tab and check.
Not a guarantee — nobody credible guarantees rankings, and anyone who does is telling you something they can't control. What you want is a clear answer about review points, what gets reassessed at three and six months, and how you'd exit if the direction is wrong.
The same eight steps for every engagement, in the same order. What changes is how much time each one takes, and that's decided by what the audit actually finds — not set in advance.
Crawl, indexation, Core Web Vitals, on-page gaps and where your current content actually stands.
What your buyers actually search, split by informational, commercial and transactional intent.
Who currently ranks, their authority level, and what it would realistically take to outrank them.
Every priority term matched to an existing page or a new one — no keyword without a home.
The foundation work: crawlability, schema, internal linking, titles and structure.
Building out the pages and depth needed to be credible across a topic, not just one keyword.
Earning the links and mentions that let you compete against sites with a head start.
Rankings, organic traffic and enquiries tracked against what was agreed, reviewed and adjusted regularly.
NCR has the widest price spread in the country — the same brief can come back anywhere from a few thousand rupees a month to several lakh. The spread is real, and it's usually explained by who does the work rather than how much work gets done.
A 40-page services site and a 4,000-SKU store need different work at different depths.
Closing a 50-point DR gap requires sustained link investment. Closing a 10-point gap does not.
Whether you have a writer or need the content produced changes the monthly scope significantly.
Selling abroad adds hreflang, localisation and separate keyword sets per market.
I'm based in Lucknow and work with NCR clients remotely — calls, shared dashboards and documented deliverables. No local office, and I'd rather say that than imply otherwise.

Same remote model, same audit-first approach — the strategy just shifts to match each city's own industry mix.

SEO Expert in Hyderabad →The work splits into three parts. Technical SEO makes sure search engines can crawl, render and index your site — on NCR ecommerce sites the recurring problem is faceted filter URLs generating thousands of near-duplicate pages that compete with the category they came from. Content and on-page work targets queries your buyers actually search, weighted toward terms the large incumbents have left uncovered. Authority building earns the links that let you compete at all. Which matters most depends on your site, which is why the audit comes first.
Two reasons compound. NCR has the densest concentration of established brands with mature websites, so the incumbents in most SERPs have years of accumulated authority. And it has the densest concentration of SEO agencies, which means your competitors are almost certainly already investing. Neither makes the market unwinnable, but both mean a strategy built on head terms alone tends to spend a year going nowhere.
The spread here is wider than anywhere else in India, and the low end is usually low because delivery is handed to inexperienced staff working from a checklist. Cost should be driven by site size, category competitiveness, the authority gap, whether content production is included, and whether you're targeting India alone or selling abroad. I scope after the audit so the number reflects real work.
Yes — NCR functions as one commercial market even though it spans three states. Clients in Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad are all served the same way. Noida has its own page because the B2B and IT services concentration there justifies a different treatment.
Technical fixes can show movement within weeks. Competitive commercial terms usually take several months, and in NCR's more contested categories longer than that, because you're not just improving your site — you're overtaking sites that have been investing for years. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting keywords nobody searches or not telling you the truth.
It's the largest part of the work in this market. Nostrum's "denim hoodie" moved from outside the top 50 to position 5, and Muffynn's "gurkha pants for men" from outside the top 100 to 6 on 14,800. Both are live and searchable, so you can verify them rather than take my word for it.
No. I'm based in Lucknow and work with NCR clients remotely. For SEO this makes very little practical difference — the work happens in your CMS, your Search Console and your analytics, not in a meeting room. If you specifically need someone who can attend in-person meetings in Delhi, I'd rather tell you upfront that I'm not the right fit.
Yes. It means structuring content so answer engines can extract and cite it, building the entity signals that make a brand recognisable to these systems, and tracking where you appear in AI-generated answers. It matters commercially because an AI summary that names three brands has effectively made the shortlist before the buyer visits a single site. One client, AFT Saudi, is now cited by ChatGPT for supplier queries in its category.
I look at your site properly — crawl and index status, technical issues, on-page gaps, your authority position against the sites currently outranking you, and where the realistic opportunities are. You get a written summary of what I found and what I'd prioritise. If the honest answer is that SEO isn't your bottleneck, or that your budget is better spent elsewhere, I'll say so.
Send me your URL and the keywords you're targeting. I'll tell you which are winnable, which aren't worth the budget, and what I'd fix first — before you commit to anything.
